Project Administrative Assistant
LOCATION: SW Portland/Hillsdale
SALARY: $19-$23/hour
JOB DESCRIPTION: Great opportunity working for a contract utility company in SW Portland/Hillsdale area paying $19-$23/hour! This is a temporary need for 1 year due to a large, recently acquired contract. Position is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. If you are a computer savvy individual who thrives on project work, take a look at this position that starts immediately.
The project requires a strong computer minded individual who can successfully navigate the City of Portland submittal process (easily trainable if you have worked in a similar platform), as well as working on traffic control plans using the Rapid Plan system. Position entails doing electronic filing of PDF's as well as updating very large Excel sheets with detailed information. In addition to project work, you will support office administrative needs including meeting arrangements and set up, as well as answering phone calls.
The ideal candidate will be professional in demeanor but more laid back in style, with an ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong Microsoft Office is a must; Photoshop and prior use of mapping technology would be a bonus!
A criminal background check and/or drug screen may be required.
