Staffing Coordinator - Full-time

Home Instead Senior Care, the nation's most trusted source of non-medical home care for seniors, is seeking a full-time Staffing Coordinator to recruit, train, and staff the best CAREGivers in the industry for our Queens, NY office.

Hours are M-F, 8:30 - 5:00, with participation in our evening and weekend on-call rotation.

We are looking for a personable and energetic person to join our team. This important full time position will support our Client Care, Marketing and Recruitment Managers with calls, record keeping and system management. In addition to general office duties, the responsibilities of this position will include scheduling CAREGivers, fielding client requests and schedule changes. This requires a creative and critical thinker who is extremely organized and detail oriented and can provide results while under pressure.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Articulate ideas clearly and present information in a straightforward, logical way.
• Listen effectively and offer solutions
• Comfortable working with technology and ability to quickly learn our scheduling software
• Competent at adapting to changing situations, flexible
• Able to convince others to adopt a course of action, persuasive
• Desire to please clients and provide excellent customer service
• Friendly, warm and excited about helping seniors and their families
• Take personal responsibility for achieving desired outcomes, demonstrate initiative and self- motivation
• Plan and successfully execute quarterly CAREGiver meetings.
• Prepare and publish the monthly newsletter within the deadline.
• Quality Assurance visits.

This is a fast-paced position that requires you to be able to handle many scheduling scenarios at once, while remaining calm and nurturing. We work hard but have fun too!
