Electrical Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Currently hiring an Electrical Engineer for an automated machinery company South of Pittsburgh!!

Candidates MUST know how to read, follow, and understand electrical circuits and PCBs with microcontrollers. Candidates MUST also have a grasp and interest in C programming on Linux.

Responsibilities:

• Design and test PCBs
• Design test fixtures and test procedures
• Design motion control systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems such as controls and designs that malfunction, troubleshooting wiring, circuitry, and mechanical failures

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor of Science with strong background in both electronics and programming.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of control systems.
• Knowledge digital circuits.
• Knowledge of C and C++ programming.
• Embedded coursework or experience.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers or DSPs.
• Ability to debug embedded circuits.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Self-Motivated, team player.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of analog circuits.
• Knowledge of motor drive electronics.
• Knowledge of Linux programming.
• Knowledge of a RTOS.
