Restaurant Safety Support Specialist - Part-time (17020982) Description
Position Summary
The Restaurant Safety Phone Support (“RSPS”) role assists Operations by fielding phone calls and email inquiries related to employee illnesses and restaurant emergencies from 5AM – 11PM, Monday-Sunday (some holidays included). By using Salesforce.com, the “RSPS” will track employee exclusions and work closely with a medical staff and implement internal protocols to ensure the safety of our guests and crew. The “RSPS” will be trained to manage restaurant crisis that could result in a restaurant closure or food safety risk. The “RSPS” will work closely with other Support departments, such as Facilities and Property Management, to minimally impact Operations and the guest experience.
Main Accountabilities
In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
•Rapidly respond to time-sensitive matters related to food and restaurant safety
•Field phone calls related to employee illness and exclusions and use internal protocols to escalate accordingly
•Use Salesforce.com to log cases related to employee illness, restaurant outages, maintenance issues, and closures
•Coordinate efforts with medical staff and other departments to offer swift resolution to time-sensitive matters
•Review and respond to 2000+/month Food Quality Reports that are submitted by restaurants to ensure the highest food quality
•Assist with Supply Chain Traceability Program: call restaurants daily that have not scanned their inbound food delivery
•Direct phone calls related to risk management: customer incidents, cash handling, auditing, workers’ compensation
Qualifications
Education/Training
•Associate Degree or equivalent experience
•Restaurant, Hospitality, or Customer Service experience
Knowledge/Skills
•Ability to work effectively with all levels of restaurant and field staff
•Ability to approach problems in a logical, organized manner
•Ability to stay calm under pressure
•Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills
•Excellent phone etiquette
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including knowledge of grammar and spelling
•Ability to maintain confidentiality related to all HR matters
Requirements
Flexible Schedule
•5AM – 11PM Monday-Sunday, some holidays included
•Up to 10-hour shift
•3 days off/week when full time
