Staffmark Drivers is currently accepting applications for Local Class A P&D commercial drivers to work for a private freight company with over 40 years in the transportation business. At Staffmark Drivers we realize the importance of a happy driver and we do our utmost to ensure that not only the customer is satisfied but our drivers are as well!! Drivers Job Summary:
Driver will safely operate a Class A tractor with a 48-53'ft. dry, van trailer with a lift gate and transport various freight products to specified destination.
Driver must provide timely delivery and unloading of general freight with multi-drops to route customers that range for 10-14 stops per day, some loads are palletized, and offloaded with manual pallet jack.
Driver must be able to lift/pull/push up to 50 lbs. this position also requires the delivery of loose items, while using a two wheel hand dolly.
Drivers will also be responsible for collecting any damage returns from customers, and bringing them back to distribution center. Driver will collect all BOL's by obtaining proper signatures from customers, and collect money ( C.O.D's ,cash or checks) when required on the route with providing courteous customer service.
Safety is our top priority at Staffmark Drivers!!! Driver must be safety minded and perform required DOT pre and post trips on equipment daily, be aware of safety hazards in all area conditions, maintain contact with dispatch at all time to receive instructions.

Job Requirements:
23 year of age or older
Minimum 1 year or more CDL Class A Tractor/ Trailer driving experience within the past 36 months
Must have good knowledge of Greater Los Angeles/ Orange Co. and surrounding cities
Driver may not exceed any combination of 3 moving violations and/or preventable accidents on their MVR in the past 36 months.
No DUI/DWI's in the past 5 years
Good customer service and communication skills
Must be a team-player, and have a "can do" attitude and assist wherever needed!
Provide Current DMV H6 Printout (10 year) issued within the last 30 days
