Instrumentation & Electronics Technician

Aerotek is now seeking an Instrumentation & Electronics Technician for a plant outside of Reno, NV. Candidates must have experience with instrumentation and controls, and be very proficient.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Installs and maintains electrical/electronic devices and components relating to industrial production and processing machinery.
• Perform all phases of industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting and construction.
• Complies with National Electrical Codes, Standards and Regulations.
• Utilizes, interprets blueprints, manuals, electrical line and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Uses hand tools, power tools, machine tools, conduit bending and threading equipment, hoists, cranes, jacks, forklifts and access equipment, and electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Must be able to wear required PPE and use specialized safety equipment.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have problem-solving, job planning and organizing skills and abilities.

Candidates must have 5+ year's of experience with the responsibilities outlined above, as well as experience working in a mine setting. A High School diploma or GED equivalency is required. Please apply with an updated resume and 3-4 professional references.
