About this job

Job Description: The Quality Inspector is responsible for verifying that all incoming raw materials, finished components, and/or special processes conform to company's specifications and standards.

Shift is Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Job Duties Include:
*Performs mechanical inspection of all incoming component parts, completed products and returns within the print head manufacturing department
*Check blueprint files and part numbers for accuracy
*Inspect microscopic parts for debris, defects and burrs using a microscope
*Create and maintain records for all inspections
*Measure parts using micrometer, OGP and high gauges
*Calibrate tools and maintain calibration records
*Performs quality audits, documents quality reports and handles all corrections and corrective action
Work Environment: This is a climate controlled manufacturing environment. Work area is generally quiet and candidates can expect to work independently.

Must wear steel toes and safety glasses
30 minute lunch

Qualifications: The qualified candidate must have the following:

*Minimum 3 years experience working as a quality technician and/or quality inspector within a manufacturing environment
*Minimum 1 year experience working as an electronics inspector or quality inspection within electronics
*Must have the ability to read blueprints, schematic and method sheets
*Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and/or blueprints (specifically those with geometrical tolerating and dimensioning)
*Must have experience measuring parts using micrometers, calipers, high gauges and/or OGP
*Must have experience and ability to utilize and work under microscope
*Must have ability and experience working with computers and Quality Programs
*Quality Technician Certification is a plus but not required
*Experience working with OGP is a plus but not required
