About this job

Job Description:

  • Assist in recruiting process (placing employment ads, screening candidate in an ATS system, setting up interviews, checking references)
  • Conducts New Hire Orientation
  • Time & attendance administration
  • Assist with benefits administration. Diverse benefits knowledge highly preferred.
  • Assist with projects (audits, handbook updates, company events, etc.)
  • Create documents (payroll change forms, FMLA notices, misc. letters, forms, and monthly HR reports).
  • Process termination paperwork (exit checklist, letters, unemployment claim data)
  • Responsible for employment verifications
  • Answer external HR calls
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years previous HR Admin experience in a mid-size company is required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with and quickly learn various software products for documents and spreadsheets (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, etc.)
  • Personality that exhibits flexibility to handle many tasks within short deadlines
  • Able to interact with all levels of employees
  • Well-organized and ability to prioritize duties and work independently
