About this job


Processing weekly payroll for all company divisions under immediate supervision of HR Director
Preparing payroll journal entries
Maintaining employee records and files
Preparing onboarding packages
Administering background checks
Processing forms related to workers compensation claims
Presenting benefits packages to eligible employees
Administering COBRA Qualifying Event notices
Reconciling monthly insurance invoices
General support to HR Director on daily administrative functions

Key requirements:

Ability to successfully interact with a diverse group of employees
Effectively perform job duties in a fast-paced environment while maintaining company standards for excellent service
Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
Candidate must be highly organized and have strong problem solving skills
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must have solid general math skills. Accounting knowledge: credits & debits, a plus
Experience/Educational Requirements: High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of related professional experience or equivalent education.
