CB SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

POSITION PURPOSE
Develop, implement and monitor solutions to optimize the supply chain. Manage data analytics and reporting for the supply chain team. Communicate across all business partners to drive down costs and inefficiencies across the organization.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
20%- Analyze data independently and draw actionable conclusions. Be able to prepare executive level summary which is concise and easy to understand.
20%- Develop and build processes, evaluate opportunities, create implementable solutions, & facilitate a metrics program to measure improvement of the supply chain. Should be able to coordinate cross-functional teams, seeking feedback & tracking results.
20%- Facilitate and support merchants during product line review, vendor negotiations and merchandising initiatives to consider and address supply chain issues.
20%- Develop supply chain best practices, key learnings and communicate across the supply chain team. Manage and develop supply chain team.
20%- Manage and develop the supply chain team.
NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to CB Director Supply Chain.
This position has 1-4 direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field. Proficiency in Access, Excel and SQL / Queries a must.
Preferred Qualifications:
Typically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.
Typically faces situations that are unstructured and require original approaches.
Typically considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solving problems.
Typically expected to provide infrequent status reports to management only as appropriate.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Strong supply chain data analysis skills with proven ability that has resulted in improvement of company's supply chain in following areas :
1. Building transportation data models that will match transportation activity with transportation cost and thus determine actual cost of moving an item from point A to Point B in supply chain.
2. Should be able to analyze and optimize supply chain network of Crown Bolt.
3. Experience of working on Activity based costing or Line level costing (Cost allocation).
4. Knowledge of developing supplier score card and experience of working with supplier to improve their KPIs (Key performance indicators) such as lead time, in stock availability, rejection rate.
In depth knowledge of TMS (Transportation Management System) and WMS (Warehouse Management System); should also understand general flow of information in these systems.
Understanding of SAP transactions related with order creation and interface with TMS/WMS.
Strong understanding of the key levers of profitability for a merchandising category and for stores (P&L) including retail accounting.
Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and Excel VBA
Ability to develop independent SQL processes/ jobs.
