he Database Administration and Architecture team manages data as a vital company asset, to ensure full data integrity, consistency and availability to support Online Business Unit applications, business consumers and customers. This function retains full integrity of data in the event of a disaster or catastrophe and adopt best practices in a conservative manner in order to deliver services to the corporation.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work closely with fellow research scientists, business analysts, and IT staff
- Migrate analytical models and required data into cloud and manage execution
- Implement analytical models into production environment and create required data connections
- Develop new strategies to improve the performance of SHC's fulfillment systems networks
- Research, evolve, and innovate scientific methods and advanced business logic within our assortment, replenishment and/or supply chain planning teams
Job Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar technical field
- Experience in Spark, Scala, R, Python, or similar languages
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Ability to work independently towards providing analytical services to the business
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in developing GUI and API
- Experience with open source technologies like Kafka, Hadoop, Hive
- Experience in Google Cloud and AWS is a plus
- Experience with Big Data concepts and technologies is a plus
