JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for the delivery of projects that provide functional change to existing processes and support the creation of new processes. Provides leadership for planning, development, implementation, maintenance and documentation of projects supporting various functions and crossing organizational lines. Serves as the lead on assigned projects, with responsibility for overall coordination and integration of complex projects and deliverables in accordance with project requirements.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Manager, is responsible for the planning, coordination and status reporting of projects from initiation through implementation. This position is responsible for managing project costs, resources, change requests, risk and issues to ensure that maximum business benefit is maintained. This position provides regular project status updates and follows standardized SDLC processes and SHC MT processes when applicable.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops project plans and ensures the scope and approach are fully understood by all stakeholders.
  • Identifies and tracks key project milestones.
  • Baselines number of resources, time spend and expenditures
  • Ensures all systems of record for project reporting are kept current; directs and monitors work efforts on a regular basis
  • Ensures accurate reflection of project budgets, forecasts and actuals within the PPM tool (JIRA).
  • Monitors and communicates progress of project delivery in terms of cost, forecast, schedule and assessment of risks/issues.
  • Ensures effective change control procedures and processes are efficiently used to maintain control on scope, schedule, quality and cost.
  • Facilitates post implementation reviews and ensures lessons learned are carried forward appropriately.
  • Participates in developing and maintaining processes, best practices, and templates relating to business systems analysis, communication standards, and general project management practices.
  • Seeks ways to build trust, understanding, and credibility as the key ingredients in building meaningful relationships and adding value with business partners
  • Maintains up-to-date project management/application development knowledge by demonstrating strong motivation in continuous learning of latest methodologies and applications in improving project management practice
  • Consults with and demonstrates success working across matrixed clients, supplier and geographically dispersed teams
  • Ensures all project deliverables including contracts have been completed, deliverables are on schedule, and within specification and budget for a given project
  • Participates throughout the project's quality assurance cycle to ensure that the final product meets project requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-10 years of related experience
  • 18 years of age or olderREQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Minimum five (5) years prior relevant IT and business work. Experience in a large Global IT organization strongly preferred.
