Our client in McHenry is looking for a high-performing National Sales Manager to help them meet their customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping their company competitive and innovative. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for maximizing their sales team potential, crafting sales plans as well as justifying those plans to the upper management. The company provides engineering, design and sourcing services to client worldwide. This is an direct hire opportunity for a seasoned sales manager with strong base pay and uncapped commissions.

 

National Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing independent sales representatives
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales reps
  • Increase independent sales reps
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

 

National Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager and managing independent sales reps
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 10 years experience in sales management
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Experience dealing with Asia desirable
