About this job

Outbound lead position responsible for managing the activities and processes involved with outbound operations for customer orders. Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of the support staff and ensures that all employees operate within the customer's guidelines.
The role requires frequently interactions with subordinates, customers and peer groups at various management levels.




Responsibilities include (but not limited to)-


Direct and manage temporary warehouse associates to ensure that productivity goals are met and customer specific quality standards are maintained.



Responsible for daily scheduling of staff; including work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee breaks, overtime assignment, and coverage for absent employees.



Daily monitoring of individual and group productivity guidelines.


Work to meet DC Standard Operating Procedures and Safety policies.


Hold associates accountable for conducting work in a safe manner.


Track individual container hours, daily attendance and performance, and communicate with management team in regards to headcount needs and employee releases.


Analyze processes and procedures to produce maximum service with minimal downtime.


Recommend strategies to increase production and efficient space management and identify opportunities to improve efficiency


Ensure quality service is provided to the customers and ensure prompt follow-through on all issues and concerns.


Work with on site customer representatives to ensure a smooth operation and to strengthen customer relations.


Must be able to drive results and continuous improvement for the customer.


Willingness to learn new functions, multi-task, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. At least 2-5 years related experience. Must have at least 6 months electric pallet jack experience. Strong leadership skills.
Strong communication skills are a must.
Must be people oriented and a problem solver.
