People really do get paid to be around video games and Rolling Video Games of Northern Virginia (located in Ashburn, VA) is looking to hire Game Coaches (who live no more than 15-20 miles from Ashburn, VA) for parties and events. A Game Coach is an on-site tech that assists with playing the games, encourages fun and ensures that each party is successful.
A Game Coach is assigned to every event and serves as the on-site representative of Rolling Video Games of Northern Virginia. Your job will be to instruct, tutor and inspire our guests to have the most fun possible with our state-of-the-art equipment. Younger guests may need help with the game movements and wireless controllers. Teen guests might be shown tricks of the trade or game strategy and act as a big brother. You would help/guide adult guests as needed.Your expertise and personality will be key ingredients in making sure their event is the best experience we can offer!
You will be managing large groups of people and supervising up to 16 gamers on 4 gaming consoles at one time. The Mobile Video Game Theater contains 4 Xbox, 4 Wii and 2 PS3 consoles.
Please note these are Part-Time positions.
To be a Professional Game Coach, you need:
To be over 18 years old
Have a clean driving record and pass background check
Non-Smoker
Extensive video game knowledge, must fully understand Xbox 360, Wii PS3 game systems
Ability to teach new gamers how to use the games
Have creative ideas to conduct large groups gaming against each other
Flexibility in schedule to work weekends, occasional weekdays and weeknights
Excellent communication skills/good with people/ professional work ethic
Must be able to meet deadlines, be punctual and always act professional and be well-groomed
