General Manager

Job Summary:

As a General Manager at McAlister's Deli you would be responsible for providing outstanding leadership to your team. You should be passionate about the industry, inspiring others, coaching, counseling, creating a profitable environment, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Our Team Members must maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and facility management.

Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years restaurant management experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays
• The desire to develop talent with in both the management and hourly teams
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Sound decision making and problem solving skills
• Desire for personal and professional growth
• Must possess a strong business acumen
• Must be able to "plug in" to the local business community

Strong knowledge of food cost, inventory and labor controls. Professional and positive attitude, pride about doing a job well. Ability to lead and encourage others to succeed daily. Team minded skills that articulate the message of delivering superior customer service. Experience with Hot Schedules helpful but not required. Spanish a plus.
