Bartender
Responsibilities:
• Be able to memorize and execute our cutting edge drink menu innovations.
• Be able to educate and sell our extensive beer selection.
• Know / learn basic wine compentency.
• Prepares beverages with consistency of recipe everytime.
• Works with "team work" always in mind.
• Build business through establishing "regulars', the pride of what we do!
• Compute guest checks, operate the POS computerized cash register system and accept payments according to company cash handling policies.
• Maintains restaurant safety and sanitation.
• Serves guests according to established procedures.
• Attend all employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
• Reports tips for each shift.
• Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times
• Must pass alcohol certification examination.
• Is aware of, and abides by all liquor service laws.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager / Asst. Manager.
Qualifications:
• Able to stand for 9 hours.
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
• Excellent command of the English language
• Must be alert to the guest's needs
Required Training/Experience/Education
• Bartender experienced required, preferably in a high-volume atmosphere.
• Knowledge of bar and restaurant service and pleasant attitude.
