About this job

You will be expected to create, initiate, train and maintain systems relating to all points of the initial patient care experience.  You will be required to monitor the consistency of those performing these tasks in all three offices.  These systems should include but not be limited too:    

  • Greeting the patients properly upon arrival to the office.  Ensuring the paperwork and charts are complete.  Letting the medical staff know when the patient is ready for the exam.    
  • Validating insurance and demographic information accuracy in both the medical record and the practice management software.    
  • Making sure that the answering of phones is done in a professional and courteous manner.    
  • Scheduling the front desk staff.    
  • Collecting and posting the correct charges from the patients.     
  • Scheduling the patients properly regarding followup exams.
  • Reviewing physician schedules for proper patient flow.
  • Ensuring professional behavior, appearance and conduct of the front desk employees.
