Under general supervision, to perform a variety of functions and activities related to preventive maintenance, cleaning, repair and operation of swimming pools and pool equipment; to perform semiskilled and skilled duties in themaintenance of swimming pools.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.
1. Clean and maintains swimming pools. 2.Operates filters and pumps, and utilizes hand tools in the cleaning of pools and decks.
3. Monitors, and maintains chemical testing and control equipment.
4. Backwashes and cleans swimming pool water purification systems.
5. Brushes, skims, and vacuums pool surfaces.
6. Scrubs and cleans swimming pool tile surfaces.
7. Balances chemicals.
8. Maintains accurate service records.
9. Evaluates and recommends pool supplies and equipment; orders and maintains an inventory of pool supplies.
10. Plans and organizes assignments effectively.
11. Loads and unloads truck, transports, lifts and carries pool equipment and supplies.
12. Performs other related duties as required.
Must have a friendly attitude and must be able to communicate with homeowners effectively.
Will train.
