Assistant Cafe Manager

The Assistant Cage Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Cage Manager in the successful operation of the cage and assuring that guest have a favorable gaming experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for supervising the cage operation.
  • Help train and develop employees, appraising performance, reward and discipline employees ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Review department financial data.
  • Review cage activities and promotions with Cage Manager.
  • Coordinates internal controls ISR Bank Services Act and gaming regulations.
  • Enforce accounting controls in order to safeguard company’s assets. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, policies, procedures, internal controls, and casino operations.
  • Ensures compliance with all gaming regulations and Title 31
  • Monitor business demands and assist Cage manager to make necessary scheduling and staffing adjustments.
  • Establish and maintain banks and table limits.
  • Monitor patrons for signs of compulsive gambling, offering assistance if necessary.
  • Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or better in Finance or Business a plus, as well as a minimum (2) years of cage experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a State of Colorado Gaming License. Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Must also have a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Must possess the ability to interact with guest, staff and other departments in a courteous, friendly and professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
  • Good communication and public relation skills.
