Pediatric Front Desk Medical Receptionist / Dayshift

We are seeking an Bilingual (English and Portuguese) Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! You will be responsible for professionally coordinating the daily administration of doctors, visitors, and patients at the healthcare facility. You will schedule appointments, answer patient inquires, maintain records and accounts, and answer phones.

Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner;:
• Obtain and enter accurate demographic information
• Schedule appointments properly and inform patient of items to bring to appointment;
• Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient- focused service and a positive impression of the organization;
• Direct calls to other departments as necessary;
• Check patients in/out verify insurance and collect copay/outstanding balances
• Ensure that our patients get the best possible care;

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Portuguese
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong customer Service skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Proficient in use of computers and software programs
• Must be detailed oriented and able to handle multi-tasks
