Driver

Don’s Moving & Storage is a moving company based in Albany, NY. We are a family owned company that prides its self on service. We have been in the area since the 1950s and have employees that have been with us for 30 years. 

We are seeking drivers.

-Pay is between $20 and $28

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

-The ability to read and understand D.O.T regulations, complete drivers logs, as well as being accountable for turning them in.

-Must be able to complete a bill of lading and all other shipping documents, and maintain their safekeeping.

-Have a professional attitude and good customer service skills.

-Have the ability to communicate and lead your crew and direct helpers/loaders.

Performance Requirements:

-Good customer service skills.

-Professional attitude.

-Able to work as part of a team.

-Able to adhere to all government and company safety rules.

Physical Demands:

-Requires repetitive and frequent walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.

-Heavy lifting of boxes and furniture on a consistent basis.
