HVAC Installation Technician

Responsible for installing heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Supervise the work of other installers maintaining high quality and timely job performance.

• Valid EPA Certification, or ability to pass EPA test
• Proficient in installing round and rectangular duct
• Able to measure duct work and install all equipment accessories
• Basis understanding of more complex sheet metal fittings
• Can complete simple low voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers and air conditioners
• Braze and test line sets
• Ability to work comfortable from a ladder
• Ability to lift 100 lbs
• Must be able to communicate well with supervisors, builders and other trades
• Work well with customers, co-workers and subcontractors
• Run and work a job from start to finish, complete jobs within the labor budget
• Complete all necessary paperwork, job packets, change orders, time cards accurately
• Supervise and be responsible for other installers
• Operate company vehicle daily
• Follow instructions from supervisor and carry out in timely manner.
• Report problems with company tools or vehicle promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Work staggered schedule if required
• Lock up building
• Insurable by Company insurance carrier
• Valid driver’s license
• Other duties as assigned
