Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 18+years.
• Experience & Early Childhood Education credits/credential a plus!

Teacher Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching at least 2 years experience
• Ability to relate to children and adults
• Punctual, dependable
• Must pass background check
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background check/fingerprint check
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
• Ability to complete daily reports, projects, lesson plans, assessments, diaper change, etc.
• Follow Minimum Standards
• Have your CPR/first aid or seek to get it
• Have or will seek SIDS/Shaken Baby/Brain Development Training
• Has a CDA or is seeking to get their CDA- (Alternate- Degree)
• Familiar with Texas Rising Star

Duties:

• Implements Curriculum
• Does Reports Daily
• Follows TRS Requirements
• Can create activities for children
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Sings and reads with children
• Completes daily reports
• Diaper change/potty-train children
• Assist with snacks, meals, nap time and bathroom activities
• Engage with students with outdoor play/activities
• Assist in cleaning and closing the classroom at the end of the day
• Make sure your class is full of exploration and discoveries
• Attends all mandatory meetings
• Knows TRS or gets training
• Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
• Be flexible

• Pay is based on experience (CDA or higher Education is a plus!)
