HEADLINE:  Lake Ronkonkoma, Long Island (Suffolk County, about 1.5 hours to Manhattan):  Three to four Nurse Practitioners are needed for outpatient, inpatient, or combination of both outpatient and inpatient opportunities.  These are hospital based Nurse Practitioner opportunities.  The financial compensation package is very competitive.

LOCATION:  Lake Ronkonkoma, Long Island  (Suffolk County)

• The new Nurse Practitioners will be working at a hospital located in Lake Ronkonkoma, Long Island New York.

• It is about one and one-half hours to Manhattan.

PRACTICE  OPPORTUNITY:

• Located in Lake Ronkonkoma, Long Island, three to four Nurse Practitioners are needed for hospital-based opportunities.

• They are outpatient, inpatient, or combination of both outpatient and inpatient opportunities.
  
  

• Daytime and night-time positions are also available.
  
  

• The hospital has seven Physician Assistants and five Nurse Practitioners on staff.

• No work experience and fresh out of training
  
  
• The ideal candidate(s) have work experience ranging from one to ten years.
  
  
• Candidates who have many years of work experience will be considered for supervisory positions.
  
  

• If the new Nurse Practitioner has infusion experience or neuro-infusion experience, it would be a plus.  However, this skill is not required.
  
  

        DUTIES:

• Ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and X-Rays.

• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Infections, and Injuries.

• Prescribing medications and other treatments.

• Managing the overall care of patients.

• Recording Patients medical History.

• Updating Medical Records

• Documenting patients symptoms

• Collecting samples (blood, urine, mucus, and stool)

FINANCIAL COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

• The starting salary is $ 125,000 for someone without work experience, i.e., a new or recent graduate.

• The starting salary is $ 150,000 for someone with work experience.
