Pharmacist In Charge

We are seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to manage a newly-opened independent pharmacy located inside a medical professional building in Bridgeton. This is an opportunity to build a pharmacy practice from the ground up and to work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize patient care. Candidates should be willing to step "from behind the counter" to help patients, have experience in an independent pharmacy setting, and have some experience with practice management.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure proper entering, billing, verification, and dispensing of medications
• Provide informal drug information answers to patients and prescribers in the area
• Supervise, schedule, and evaluate work of part time pharmacists technicians, cashiers, and delivery personnel
• Practice management activities required (payroll, cash management)
• Market yourself and the practice to area patients, community groups, and providers
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

Experience

• Community pharmacy experience preferred
• Spanish Language experience preferred

Education

• Pharm.D. preferred, RPh required
• Immunization Certification required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
