Description

The Composite Industrial Painter position is responsible for prepping and coating aerospace composite parts. This role requires previous industrial painting experience and reports to the Industrial Paint Lead.

Duties:

  • Detailed paint prep including surface filler application and sanding
  • Mix, prepare and apply primers and topcoats to meet engineering specifications
  • Maintain paint spray equipment
  • Applies touch up paint to parts as needed
  • Follow and complete work orders throughout the manufacturing process
  • Able to read engineering drawings and mix paint and mask parts accordingly

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of industrial painting experience is required; composite painting experience strongly preferred.

Preferred:

  • Composite experience preferred
  • Knowledge of materials, fabrics, resins, chemicals and components used in advanced composite production
  • Schedule: 10 hour shift, 4 x 10
