Salesperson Requirements
Description:
· Develop, manage and grow profitably capital equipment sales and business relations with integrators, Automotive and industrial fluid handling customers.
· Act as the liaison between the customer and the internal order fulfillment process departments for capital equip.
Typical Activities Include:
· Call on corporate headquarters, technical design centers, system integrators and material suppliers.
· Has the ability to perform “cold call” sales.
· Establish a trusting relationship with each influential department to identify opportunities, troubleshoot problems and to provide IEC solutions.
· Acquire customer organizational charts and update all customer contact information.
· Provide sales forecasts with accurate probabilities for yearly projections.
· Strategic sales calling protocol complete with sales call logs and potentials.
· Identify 3 to 5 year new programs for key accounts.
· Report new product opportunities to secure upcoming programs.
· Develop new customers that utilize any fluid handling process.
· Develop new customers that require fabrications, ASME coded vessels and laser cutting opportunities.
· Prepare detailed and technical quotations for the opportunities developed.
· Turn in weekly and monthly sales call reports.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing or equivalent education and experience.
· Understanding of business operations and marketing principles.
· Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in the Automotive and General Industry market place.
· The ability to deal effectively with individuals at all organization levels.
· Effective oral, written and skills.
· The ability to plan, prioritize and problem solve.
· The ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
