Skills and Qualifications:

·         Have a Utah Pharmacy Technician License

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Knowledge of insurance, pharmacy authorization, and billing

·         Familiar with pharmacy computer software and POS

·         Experience as a Pharmacy Technician

·         Ability to interact with patients and customers

·         Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, insurance providers, etc..

Responsibilities

·         Provide excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business

·         Maintenance of inventory

·         Answer questions and requests, and be able to defer to pharmacist

·         Perform tasks requested by the pharmacist

·         Maintain records by recording and filing physicians orders and prescriptions

Key Elements of Position

·         Customer Service and Delivery- Includes the interaction with the customer both in store and over the phone

·         Rx processing- Includes support of the Pharmacist in the processing of prescriptions

·         Administrative Tasks- All necessary support functions to operate the pharmacy

·         Support of Company Programs- Includes special products and services Walker Drug offers its customers

·         General Tasks- Support Walker Drug in its ability to provide exceptional customer service
