EMC Test Technician We are currently seeking several Full-Time, Long-Term EMC Test Technician's for a facility in Warren, Ohio. EMC Test Technicians will be responsible for providing electromagnetic compatibility/interference and signal integrity testing of automotive components. EMC Test Technician(s) will be responsible for the development and support of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) test related activities. EMC Test Technician Responsibilities: Must be able to review test plans and specifications prior to the test. Verify and set-up test instrumentation to conduct test programs, document test results and compile final test reports. May communicate with clients during the set up and performance of a test to demonstrate equipment test methods and/or to discuss test results. Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot EMC and Signal Integrity Test configurations. Test various automotive components i.e., Cameras, Headlamps. Maintain knowledge of proper operational procedures of all test equipment including spectrum analyzers, EMC receivers, signal/impulse generators, antennas, oscilloscopes, etc. EMC Test Technician Qualifications/Skills: Two-year associate degree in an engineering discipline and/or equivalent experience required. Must have a background in analog and digital circuitry experience. Must have working knowledge with electronic/electrical test equipment experience. High level of verbal and written communication skills preferred. 1-3+ years of related experience in electromagnetic compatibility or radio frequency testing preferred. Must be able to read electrical drawings or schematics. Computer programming skills with knowledge of networks preferred. Working knowledge of digital signal analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators. The position is Full Time, Long Term with an hourly rate range that is based on experience and education.
