Fuel Sales

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Fuel Sales professional to join our team. This dynamic role will require you to manage fuel sales operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage sales of fuel products and services. You will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a passion for the fuel industry. As a Fuel Sales professional, you will be responsible for developing relationships with both existing and potential customers to ensure that fuel sales goals are met. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a good understanding of fuel market trends. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Listen to and resolve customer complaints and concerns as they may arise.
  • Demonstrate work habits that develop, build, and support the team concept within the organization.
  • Display an attitude that is focused on improving and serving customers, teammates, and self.
  • Monitor and analyze fuel pricing trends and competitor activities
  • Responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with key accounts
  • Prepare sales forecasts and other reports to track sales performance
  • Negotiate long-term supply agreements with suppliers
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations staff to ensure timely delivery of fuel products
  • Explore new markets and products and identify opportunities for growth
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the fuel sales department
  • Develop promotional strategies to increase sales of fuel products
  • Monitor and maintain the company’s fuel inventory
  • Ensure that all safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Proven experience in fuel sales
  • Previous sales experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of computer systems and software programs

Territory Planning /Management

  • Identify and prioritize customers and prospects.
  • Develop action plans for increasing targeted customers’ business.
  • Maintain Sales contracts & bookings.
  • Generate leads for other departments through referrals and cross-selling.
  • Complete paperwork in a timely fashion to ensure that a reflection of your daily duties is documented, and all contracts are properly executed.

Increase Sales Revenue

  • Expected to grow the Energy business annually and maintain existing relationships.
  • Perform sales calls on current and prospective customers.
  • Present products, services, and the added value of our company.
  • Handle objections and complaints in a timely manner and ensure that they are correctly documented.

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree recommended but not required, no experience is required for candidates that possess the appropriate skills. Additional coursework for certification may be required.
  • Possess a good technical background in today’s farming practices.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work various hours.
  • Must constantly stay current on different programs of new and different products and how they work together or conflict to make it work for AgState and the growers.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and must be willing to obtain a Class A CDL.
