This 650+ bed hospital earned their voluntary COC accreditation and covers over 50 specialty areas. The hospital is an academic medical center and affiliated with a national system.

The OR Nurse Manager will have an open door to the RN Director of Perioperative Services and will be supported by Executive Leaders as well as all medical staff. They will oversee a group of well experienced RN staff, many who are CNOR’s. They will also have ANM’s reporting to them.  An OR Nurse Educator is also on the team and the OR RN Manager will be supported by an Outpatient Surgery RN Manager as well as a PACU Nurse Manager

The OR Nurse Manager will collaborate with other Hospital Directors for the overall support in the organization. This Manager level position is very much a team effort to be sure that guidelines/policies are being followed and that patient needs are being met. The OR Nurse Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality care to patients while evaluating the department's nursing care. They will oversee new hires into the department and serve as a mentor for medical professionals that are looking to grow into clinical leaders as the organization is looking to expand.
