Accounting Assistant

We are currently seeking to add to our family and are looking for hard working individuals that are self-motivated, creative and has great customer service skills. Our business in Dallas/Fort Worth is growing and currently has an opportunity for a Full Time Administrative Clerk.

The Administrative Clerk is responsible for all counting, balancing, and reconciliation of money for the company. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with customer service, financial and accounting skills, and have the ability to work with a wide a wide array of people. We are looking for not only a team player but someone that is trustworthy, honest and always looks out for the company’s best interest. This position is an in - office position in a fast pace environment.

Essential responsibilities but not limited to:

• Handle general office tasks, such as filing and generating reports in a timely manner
• Provides excellent customer service while answering and directing phone calls
• Communicates professionally and diligently with customers and employees via email on a daily basis.
• Creates and update records in Amusement Smart database on a daily basis such as service calls, equipment moves and financial data.
• Assist colleagues with daily needs such as ATM money, changer, petty cash, and Monday kiosk.
• Counts money, verifies collection tickets and prepares bank deposits as needed.
• Always have any money issued signed out by the person receiving it.
• Verifies collection tickets, receipts and bank deposits for other offices
• Reconciles safe and keeps records on a daily and weekly basis (ATM, petty, changer rolled quarters, deposits, etc)
• Maintains office, neat, clean and organized at all times.
• Organize and properly store daily paperwork such as collection tickets and receipts
• Submit end of the month collection reports for company
• Verifies game meters for all 3 companies on a monthly basis
• Enters new customer date into Amusement Smart database
• Order city and state permits annually or as needed
• Assign city and state permits to each machine and maintain records
• Order Tobacco permits as needed
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualification of Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver's License
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Previous work references will be checked
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and able to adapt to new duties
• Must be proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail and with personnel and customers
• Ability to identify complex problems and review information to evaluate
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
• Able to lift heavy coin.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Associate degree plus 4 years' experience cash handling experience.
• Experience in Banking Industry a plus
