 A Magnet designated hospital located in central Connecticut is now searching for an experienced RN Director Medical Surgical Services to join their award-winning healthcare organization. 

This community-based acute care hospital is home to over 150 inpatient beds and provides a wide variety of inpatient, outpatient, primary care, and skilled nursing services. This network services more than 20 locations and supports a growing team of 100 experienced providers throughout the central Connecticut regions. The organization combines a dedicated team of healthcare providers that strive to enhance the overall health of all patients and community residents. 

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the RN Director will oversee all clinical and administrative operations of the medical surgical and acute inpatient units. The RN Director oversees all personel management, designs and implements policies and procedures, promotes an environment of professionalism and quality care, manages department fiscal budgets, and ensures compliance with all regulatory standards.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing BSN from an accredited nursing program
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of Connecticut or ability to obtain
  • Progressive leadership experience in an inpatient acute care setting
