As a Maintenance Technician III, you will be responsible for supporting maintenance operations in a refrigeration tube manufacturing organization. Responsibilities include:
- Promote a safe, clean, organized working environment for all employees and always wear proper PPE.
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on all Carrier equipment as needed.
- Improve production equipment up-time by ensuring reliability and repeatability so that all equipment can produce quality product.
- Responsible for servicing all types of mechanical and electrical devices including analog and digital circuits, AC & DC Drives, and PLC’s, with their associated control networks. Practical working knowledge of machine shop tools, welding and fabrication equipment. Power transmission, motor, gearbox, couplings and driveshafts.
- Existing equipment upgrades and new equipment installations.
- Work with stores to reduce the cost of equipment part inventories and help ensure correct levels of critical spares.
- Work with others to operate as a productive and efficient team.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Automated Systems, or Industrial Maintenance and 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Working knowledge of computer systems including MS Office
