Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our successful outpatient therapy practice. As a PTA, you will work under the direction and supervision of physical therapists to treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions
Responsibilities
- Perform fitness assessments to understand each client’s current fitness level
- Create individualized workout plans and training routines and revise them periodically
- Demonstrate proper techniques for using machines and equipment
- Ensure that all gym safety standards and procedures are followed
- Document patient progress
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
- First aid and CPR certified
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
