Hiring for full time bookkeeping accountant position in Oconomowoc!
Oconomowoc Realty LLC is hiring for a bookkeeper accountant that will provide excellent bookkeeping duties and perform a variety of clerical and administrative functions. Must be organized, able to prioritize, multi-task and show attention to detail.
This is a full-time opportunity. We are a family owned business, located in the heart of downtown Oconomowoc. Duties:
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to budgeting, account analysis, tax preparation (1099s, W2s, Sales Tax, etc.), accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial report writing, and payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure compliance with all applicable accounting regulations and standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Multi-company accounting work, with multiple businesses and partnerships
- Intake of monthly payments from various companies & depositing of said payments
- Completion of Insurance Audit reports
- Complete some office-based work like answering phones and assisting clients, customers, or prospects with questions or concerns
Qualifications:
- Some degree (Associate or Bachelors) or similar level of course work preferred
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and governmental accounting standards.
- Proficient in using accounting software, QuickBooks, and 10-key typing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong analytical skills to perform account analysis and financial report writing.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Interpersonal relationship skills for some direct work/contact with clients, customers, and prospects
