About this job

We are looking for a talented, experienced, and passionate, Compounder! The Compounder will be responsible for weighing batches and manufacturing/producing a quality product according to formula procedures and operating processing equipment in several functions of manufacturing. Job Duties & Requirements: Operate in compliance with all protocols, rules & regulations, and procedures. Compound high-level formulas including but not limited to haircare, personal care, beauty, and household products. Measure, weigh, count, and compound products. Mix preparations according to formulation logs. Maintain proper storage of materials and mixed products. Receive and store incoming certain raw materials. Clean, and help maintain equipment and work areas, and clean glassware according to prescribed methods. Wash & sanitize all necessary manufacturing equipment. Must have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to understand formulations and processes. Must know how to read & speak English fluently. Must have fluent math skills. Must be able to convert measurements. Fix incorrectly prepared batches by following formulas/written procedures and using math skills to problem-solve formulas. Find inconsistencies and problems and provide solutions. Have the ability to work with and maintain a variety of scales. Complete QC/QA paperwork and operation sheets for all finished batches. Forklift certified (preferred). Must wear required PPE at all times. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES: Heavy lifting as required Must be able to lift drums, pails, and containers ranging from 1lb up to 55 lbs. Stand/remain upright for periods of up to 4 hours at a time. Bend, squat, kneel, balance, turn, and stoop. Reach forward and overhead. Good eye/hand coordination. Able to climb ladders. Ability to use controls to operate and drive forklift. Forklift certified (preferred). EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES: High school education or GED required. More than 3 years of work experience in compounding is preferred.
