About this job
Loyola Medicine’s pelvic-floor physical therapy program provides a comprehensive approach to the treatment of chronic pelvic pain. Loyola’s team of experienced, compassionate therapists develops an individualized treatment plan to better manage pelvic-floor symptoms, which may include pain and difficulty controlling bowel or bladder.
The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, plans and implements an effective Physical Therapy program based upon physical assessment, clinical judgement, and psychological sensitivity for inpatients and outpatients with diverse diagnoses; provides patient education, consultation, and discharge planning; supervises and delegates patient care to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA's), Athletic Trainers (ATC's), Rehab Technicians, and Physical Therapy Students; assists with program development and outcomes/research activities; acts as an operational and clinical resource for staff in areas of expertise.

Minimum Education Required: Master's Degree

Minimum Experience: Required: 0-1 years of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications: Required: Basic Life Support (CPR)
