Job Description

The Grant Accounting and Billing Specialist reports to the Executive Director. This is a contracted position that supports grant management (financial tracking, invoicing, reconciliation, auditing) for local, state, and federal grant contracts.

Salary range: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Expertise in QuickBooks, MS Excel and ADP Run
  • Must be available 20 to 24 hours per week
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel, ADP Run
  • Ability to prioritize when faced with multiple deadlines
  • Effective problem-solving skills; resourceful
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and a friendly, collaborative work style.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 21+ years old
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Verifiable track record of successfully contracting in this role
  • Thorough understanding of the Non-profit sector
  • Understanding and commitment to the values of diversity, equity and inclusion
