Job DescriptionCompany Description
The Grant Accounting and Billing Specialist reports to the Executive Director. This is a contracted position that supports grant management (financial tracking, invoicing, reconciliation, auditing) for local, state, and federal grant contracts.
Salary range: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher
- Expertise in QuickBooks, MS Excel and ADP Run
- Must be available 20 to 24 hours per week
- 2-3 years of administrative experience
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel, ADP Run
- Ability to prioritize when faced with multiple deadlines
- Effective problem-solving skills; resourceful
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and a friendly, collaborative work style.
Preferred Qualifications
- 21+ years old
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Verifiable track record of successfully contracting in this role
- Thorough understanding of the Non-profit sector
- Understanding and commitment to the values of diversity, equity and inclusion
