Computer Security Systems Specialist - Intermediate

AITC is seeking a Computer Security Systems Specialist - Intermediate to design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect computer systems and networks.

* Assessing the status of company IT, network, and security systems.

* Designing and implementing security networks and protocols.

* Inspecting and upgrading hardware to avoid vulnerability points.

* Upgrading security software on company systems.

* Inspecting and testing the security of the network.

* Running penetration tests on upgraded systems.

* Responding to security threats.

* Investigating security incidents and determining the cause of the breach

* Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies

* Drafting security policies and guidelines.

* Additional duties as assigned.

* Requires 4-6 years of related experience.

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

* ITIL Foundations within 6 months.

* SECRET Clearance

* Security + CE

* MS Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate and/or a CISSP, Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) may be required.

* Must be a US citizen.

* Able to work Overtime as required.

* Must be available to travel as required.

* Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations.

* Knowledge of security protocols and standards, such as SSL/TLS, IPsec, and DNSSEC.

* Familiarity with security tools and software, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and Encryption software.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work well in a team environment.

* Strong attention to detail.

* One of the following:

o CEH

o Cloud+

o CySA+

o PenTest+

o SSCP

* Predominantly indoors in normal office environment.

* Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach.

* Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.

* May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time.

* Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

* Must have visual acuity.

* Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds.
