HVAC Estimator/Designer/Project Manager

We are seeking a qualified individual to undertake an estimating, design and manager role for the HVAC industry. We would love you to join our team!

Design Responsibilities:

• Draft new plans to design ductwork and piping systems for new construction, commercial, retro fit plans
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new construction projects.
• Support team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks
• Foster positive relationships with superiors and co-workers, promoting a collaborative work environment
• Maintain accurate and complete paperwork for each job

Estimating Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates for new construction and commercial projects
• Analyze project specifications to determine required materials, labor, equipment and resources.
• Produce estimates for change requests
• Strong sense of scheduling projects and timelines
• Ability to work well with customers, presenting final proposals in a professional manner
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with prime contractors
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations and industry standards throughout the entire estimation process.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 Yr minimum experience in performing load calculations and duct designs for new and retro fit applications.
• Experience in new construction estimating both in Residential and Commercial work
• Has a full understanding of how HVAC systems function
• Knowledge of Wright Soft software or similar programs
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills
