Job Description

Our Quick Coupling Division in Grantsburg, WI is looking for new Castings Coupling Assembler team members to help keep the world moving. You will use your hands and machines to build Parker couplings in a safe and sustainable manner.

What Is a Quick Coupling?

Parker's Quick Coupling Division is the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world. A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our Grantsburg plant provides critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, and Fire & Rescue teams.

Aspects of Your Work

  • * Verify functionality of assembly.
  • * Complete necessary quality checks.
  • * Complete necessary paperwork.
  • * Cross training in multi-coupler area.

Secondary Duties - Other 70 Class Assembly:

  • * Assemble couplers and castings.
  • * Verify functionality of assembly.
  • * Complete necessary quality checks.
  • * Complete necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand part numbers and be able to read them.
  • Must be detail oriented with good judgement to comply with instructions and standard procedures, methods or practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
  • Complete Basic Shop Class or be willing to complete.

Physical Requirements:

  • * Continuously lifting and moving light weight material (1-25 lbs.)
  • * Frequently lifting and moving average weight material (25-35 lbs.)
  • * Occasional lifting and moving average weight material up to 40 pounds.
  • * Standing is required for this position.
