Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic)
 
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team! We are a fast-growing network of ENT clinics, and we are looking for a NP who is excellence-minded, service-driven, principled, and forward-thinking. The NP will work closely with our physicians, audiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests related to ear, nose, and throat conditions.
  2. Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of ENT disorders, such as infections, hearing loss, sinus issues, allergies, and other related ailments.
  3. Perform minor surgical procedures in clinic. 
  4. Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive measures related to ear, nose, and throat health.
  5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to best practices.
  6. Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in ENT medicine and procedures through continued education and professional development.

 
Qualifications:

  1. Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current state licensure.
  2. Certification by the AANP.
  3. Prior experience in ENT or a related field is highly preferred, but not required.
  4. Proficiency in conducting ENT examinations and procedures is preferred but not required.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient care.

 

Knowledge:

  1. Knowledge of medical model and roles of Nurse Practitioners. Familiar with anatomy, pharmacology, pathophysiology, clinical medicine, and physical diagnosis.
  2. Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
  3. Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
  4. Knowledge of documentation in medical records in confidential manner.
