**Hybrid work expectations of 1 or more days per week in office - LA facility**

THE ROLE: Senior Manager, Risk & Safety Management

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Risk Manager actively supports the in-house Production team and is responsible for insurance, risk, and safety oversight of all scripted productions. This role will be a point on anticipating, avoiding, and solving filming issues; evaluating and anticipating possible exposures; advising on solutions for best outcome; confirming all appropriate coverage; and reviewing contractual insurance requirements and policies. As part of the Production department, this position will work closely with other internal partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a strong relationship and communication with each production, Network and Studio business divisions to ensure that they are aware of risk management policies and procedures.

  • Research, advise, monitor, and implement all production, government or other health and safety protocols and mandates based on guild, union, local, national, and international compliance.

  • Revise Health and Safety manuals in accordance with current OSHA and other governing requirements.

  • Review all scripts and discuss risk assessments with the Studio, Network, and Producers to prepare for GL carrier approval.

  • Advise on loss prevention, operational improvement opportunities, and any additional coverages needed.

  • Notify insurance brokers of upcoming productions; distribute start-up packets, train production staff on insurance procedures, implement and manage Covid protocols (if applicable), ensure cast member declarations and cast medical forms are submitted to the broker and received for approval by insurance carrier while working with production to resolve or negotiate any restrictions.

  • Review and approve contract insurance language for productions, including but not limited to locations, office leases, equipment rentals and security companies.

  • Review and approve all Risk Management related revisions, certificates, standard forms, etc. including COI COI and insurance documents ensuring compliance with client's requirements.

  • Follow-up on fully executed agreements and maintain complete file on Box.

  • Risk management will be present at main production meetings with the crew and key safety meetings.

  • The applicant may work closely with Finance on claims and losses; and, show asset monitoring.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:

  • 4+ years of work experience in entertainment insurance.

  • Extensive knowledge of Production health and safety practices (Union/Guild, Covid-19 compliance, etc,).

  • Experience sourcing and applying for GL, E&O, and other coverage.

  • Experience submitting claims process to support 100% payout of the insurance limit.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines Well-organized, detail oriented and able to adjust to changing environment and tight deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and follow-through to provide daily updates and support to the Production executives.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Box, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.

  • Ability to maintain the highest level of Confidentiality and discretion in all communications.

  • Team oriented and committed to expanding DEI initiatives.

  • *Ability to travel as needed.

CompensationAnnual Pay Range: $115,073 - $137,778Annual Incentive Target: 15.00%
