Teacher Assistant/Transporter Non-Public School ****SIGNING BONUS****

Non-Public school looking to hire Teacher's Assistants and Transporter. The school is located in Sacramento, CA. Multiple positions are available.

The goal of the Non-Public school is to provide educational and behavioral services to students with the following Special Education designations: Emotionally Disturbed, Intellectually Disabled, Specific Learning Disability, Other Health Impaired, and Autism.

Grade Levels: K-12

Requirements: Valid California driver’s license; TB Clearance; Fingerprint clearance through the California DOJ and FBI.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

-Assist the teacher in maintaining a structured, positive and productive work environment.

-Work with Multidisciplinary team including Teachers, Therapists, School psychologists, Educational Aides, and Administration.

-Creativity, flexibility, and initiative in working as a team member.

-Knowledge of research-based social skills interventions.

-Knowledge of project-based learning.

-Implement students’ Individual Education and Behavioral Support Plan.

-Monitor individual student's academic and behavioral progress.

-Classwork preparation.

-Supervise students at all times.

-Assist with Vocational Education.

-Transport students to and from school/off-campus activities.

-Maintain consistent and regular attendance.

-Attend all staff meetings and training.
