CDL A Local Reefer Driver in Union City, CA - Full-time

Compensation: 

•   $28 an hour with overtime pay at time and a half after 40 hours a week
  • Average of 40-50 hours a week
• Referral Bonuses varying up to $1,000. $500 for a referral who stays the first 90 days and another $500 after another 90 days
• Paid weekly via direct deposit

Home Time, Route, & Schedule 

• Home Every Night! 
• Day shift starting between 3am-6am depending on schedule
• All routes leave warehouse in Union City, CA
• Level of Touch: Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart/pallet jack, and place in designated customer storage areas. May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions

Equipment

• Newer Freightliner’s and Internationals
• Automatic Transmission
• All trucks equipped with cameras

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have a minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
• No DUI/DWIs in last 5 years 
• Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72” to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart; constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading product, and retrieving items from trailer
• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Union City, CA or be willing to relocate for this position
