FirstHealth of the Carolinas Inpatient Rehabilitation center is a 15 semi-private bed Comprehensive Rehabilitation center dedicated to being the regional leader in medical rehabilitation services. The center is CARF accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke and is certified by Det Norske Veritas Healthcare (DNV) and has achieved NIAHO® accreditation requirements.

This unit is staffed with RNs, LPNs and CNAs. The unit provides care to adults who are hospitalized with a variety of conditions with impairments related to Stroke, Amputation, Brain Injury, Complex Orthopedic Conditions, Debility related to surgical or medical conditions, Hip Fractures, Multiple Trauma, Neurological Disorders and Spinal Cord Dysfunction

Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required. Experience required. BCLS required.

To develop and maintain a highly educated registered nursing staff to meet the present and future demands of the nursing profession, employees who begin employment with FirstHealth of the Carolinas in a position that requires a registered nurse must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five (5) years of their employment date.
