Community Engagement Manager - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
This is a Hybrid Work Eligible position. You will be required to come into the Operations Center in Berrien Springs, MI as needed to ensure business needs are met.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Responsible for ensuring the execution of the community engagement strategy and operations of the Community Engagement Department.
  • Sets and holds staff accountable to individual, departmental, and organizational goals while ensuring the proper policies, guidelines, and procedures are in place and followed to achieve the credit union's strategic goals.
  • Leads the Community Engagement Team, which includes setting direction, coaching, motivating, recognizing, and rewarding team members.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships and processes with internal cross-functional teams to ensure fluidity, providing an efficient experience to the relationship.
  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative to identify opportunities to build business through community outreach and education, media and public relations, events, and community partnerships.
  • Works with internal stakeholders to evaluate successes and misses, and course corrects as needed to ensure goal achievement and increased community presence.
  • Timely after-hours communication, presentations, and community events with members is critical for success in this position and expected.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • College degree; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Five to eight years of similar or related experience.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
  • Robust knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and development abilities.
  • Excellent sales and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • At all times follow the core values of credit union - Truth, Integrity, Respect, and Fairness.
