Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Evening & Weekend

*Shifts:*
* Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3p-9p(or later!) and all day Saturday and Sunday. Flexible with start/end times!

* 9 year old female
* Downs Syndrome
* G/J Tube
* Ileostomy
* Patient uses DExcom G7 Blood sugar monitor
* Respiratory treatments
* Immunocompromised
* Solid assessment experience required
* Patient Narrative: Patient is a spunky, full of life 9 year old looking for nurses to join her team. She loves Disney, yoga, dancing, swimming and soccer. She is always down for a dance party or a tea party with her twin sister! Family/patient needs a nurse who can keep up with her energy and engage with her. Patient is fluent in ASL and spoken English and would love to teach new nurses how to sign! She has significant medical needs and needs our help to keep her home, safe and healthy in her community. Patient has a GJ tube, an ileostomy, she utilizes a Dexcom G7 device to monitor her blood sugar, receives respiratory treatments daily and she has a significant immune deficiency. Parents would like a nurse who focuses on patient as a person, rather than her diagnoses.

*About Northeast Arc-Clinical Services:*
* Northeast ARC-Clinical Services is a home care agency out of Danvers that specializes in Continuous Care Nursing for medically complex children and adults. This means it is more than a VNA; we provide block nursing in shifts anywhere from 2-16 hours at a time. We work 1-on-1 with a patient in their home, school, or community setting. We help families navigate the complexities of their loved one’s medical care, ensuring patients stay at home and out of the hospital. Our primary goal is to assist in allowing parents/children/spouses to maintain THAT role instead of being their Loved one’s primary “nurse”.
* We are always looking for more nurses to join our team-RNs, LPNs and new grads are all welcome. Worried about “losing skills” like the homecare myth would have you believe? Our cases run the gamut from general nursing care to extremely complex ICU-level home care. Almost all our patients have some type of feeding challenge and are either G or J-tube feeding dependent. Others might have tracheostomies and require ventilator support; others might have seizure disorders, use ostomy appliances, need wound management, require diabetic maintenance, and so much more. While our primary focus is helping to manage complex medical care at home, our equally important goal is to ensure our patient’s social-emotional health & well-being. We have many families looking for nursing help and get new referrals all the time. There simply aren’t enough nurses to care for them all. Pay rates-for the three differentials: all RNs are paid $44/46/48; all LPNs are paid $36/38/40.
